Verification Submission
You must meet and submit at least two of the eligibility criteria for processing.
Students
Actively enrolled at TSU for the current semester
Proof: Current course schedule, enrollment verification letter, or student ID validated for the semester.
Demonstrated financial need
Proof: Copy of financial aid award letter showing Pell Grant eligibility, work-study assignment letter, internship agreement, or confirmation from TSU’s food/housing insecurity program.
Dependence on public transit
Proof: Copy of MTA/RTA transit pass, receipt for bus fare card, or short written statement of reliance on transit (could be cross-checked with no parking permit on file).
Faculty & Staff
Employed at TSU (full-time, part-time, adjunct)
Proof: Current TSU ID badge, recent pay stub, or HR employment verification.
Commute exceeds 5 miles with no university-provided parking
Proof: Driver’s license or utility bill showing home address.
No access to a personal vehicle or campus parking
Proof: Signed self-certification form (attesting no vehicle ownership) or confirmation from Parking Services (no permit)
Involvement in community engagement or outreach requiring travel
Proof: Documentation from department chair/supervisor, event/program flyers, or a signed letter verifying participation in outreach.
